Calendar of the Sivian League
So I've been playing with Calendar creation websites, and have at least a basic calendar made, at least for the Sivian League.
Below is a screenshot of the currant month, with the current day marked.
All countries in Obris are in year 1323, this being the number of years since the Battle of Broken Crowns. Of course not all countries count time in the same way, so while the Sivian League has 8 months, with 49 days per month (really 48, but we'll get to that later), and 8 days in a week, Jinmei, could have 4 months, with 98 days each, and no distinct days of the week. The only thing universal among all nations, is that it takes Obris 392 days to travel around the sun.
In the Sivian League, the Equinox and Solstice are major holidays, as they mark important transitions during the year. The 49th day of Achtmonat is the day of the Spring Equinox, signifying the end of Winter, and the end of the calendar year. The 1st day of Einemonat is also celebrated as part of the Spring Equinox, but also the start of a new year, and the start of Spring.
Two months make up a season, with various holidays scattered throughout. As I get them more fleshed out I'll update the Calendar, but until then, Happy Funftag!
